A huge thank you to Carpet One & CBI Blinds & Awnings for their generous $2,000 donation, and to @inklinesigns for creating the custom signage that helped bring this fundraising idea to life. Together, this initiative helped raise over $5,000 for our local community.
Gary’s role? Walk around, look handsome, and enjoy the pats. Safe to say… he understood the assignment. 🐮✨
The paint used was specifically designed to be safe for livestock, with Gary’s wellbeing our top priority throughout the day.

Gerry, Ann, and everyone who joined our artistic workshop had an absolute ball giving Gary the Steer a colourful makeover using bright orange, udder-safe, vegan-friendly paint to help promote @carpetonecanberra 🐮🎨
Gary was the perfect gentleman, happily soaking up pats, hind-quarter scratches, and of course plenty of treats. He loved every bit of the attention!
Helping Gerry and Ann bring Gary’s new look to life were Paul and Leonie, the wonderful owners of Carpet One & CBI Blinds & Awnings, whose generosity made the day possible.
