This year we celebrate a very special milestone as Ann and Gerry mark 11 years of shaping Tuggeranong Homestead into the place so many of you know and love.
We sat down with Ann and Gerry to reflect on their journey, and here’s what Ann shared:
✨ What first drew you to Tuggeranong Homestead?
“The stunning old buildings, the enormous shady trees, and the peaceful feeling of being in the country. Our cattle grazed here for five years before we took over, and we would find any excuse to visit them. We always loved being on this land.”
✨ What have the past 11 years taught you about love, community and hard work?
“It has been incredibly rewarding. We have welcomed couples and families from all over the world including Mexico, Japan and Canada. Seeing their awe when they discover the Homestead is something special. We are proud of the hard work we have put in and excited for where this precinct is heading.”
✨ What makes this place feel like home?
“For us, this is a place of work, but we want it to feel like home for everyone who comes here to celebrate their milestones.”
✨ What are you most proud of?
“The wow factor. Hearing guests compliment how beautifully the Homestead is presented and how smoothly everything runs always brings us joy. Watching people experience this place for the first time never gets old.”
✨ What does the future look like?
“We are continuing to invest in and evolve the Homestead so it remains a beautiful, welcoming space for generations to come.”
Their dedication and care have seen so many thoughtful improvements over the years, and the love they have poured into this place is reflected in the Homestead you see today.
